Giving back to the community is not only part of who we are as a company, but who we are as people. Sometimes people ask "I'm not rich, why should I give?" We here are a few good reasons!

• Giving benefits the world's neediest people. Millions upon millions live on just dollars a day, some even less!

• Giving helps make your community a better place to live and it aids in creating the kind of world in which you would want to live.

• Giving makes you happier. Remember the smile you had as a kid when your mom or dad opened the card you made them!

• Helping is a part of human nature. 99.9% of us would help an injured person, but some injuries are not visible on the outside.

We believe in the philosophy of "Givers Gain," that everything you give will come back to you exponentially allowing you to give even more!

LOVE-WATER.org
Approximately 1 in 9 people lack access to an improved water source. That's 700 MILLION!
The majority of water sources in developing countries are unprotected. Families and schools typically dig holes or pits and allow for them to fill up via rain or ground water. In some areas where there is a river nearby, this becomes an option for water. All three methods are subject to ground and exterior contamination. Rivers are always contaminated from animals using the same source and people using the source as a wash area.
Why we chose this charity: Commitment to their cause. For over 6 years, Love Water has used 100% of all donations to directly benefit the recipients. They take zero administration fees or salaries. Wow!

Community Action Partnership of Kern
13.1 million children lived in food-insecure households in 2015
Established in 1965, Community Action Partnership of Kern (CAPK) administers close to a dozen programs aimed at meeting children, families and individuals at their point of need, for those who have had difficulty engaging the “American Dream.” The work of CAPK touches the lives of more than 150,000 of your neighbors, co-workers, family and friends annually.
Why we chose this charity: PDC was founded in Kern county and many of our team members still call it home. CAPK directly serves this community by distributing 12.25 million pounds of food, including  nutrition to 20,000 women, infants and children and by serving more than 900,000 meals to Head Start and Summer Meals Programs.

AMERICAN FORESTS
Forest are essential to life on earth, for more than just air. Eighty percent of land-based biodiversity is in forests.
American Forests has been protecting and restoring forests for more than 140 years. And, while they may be the nation’s oldest conservation organization, their work today is more important than ever. Since 1990 alone, we have planted more than 50 million trees, helping to restore forests in all 50 states and nearly 50 countries.
Why we chose this charity: Trees (and paper) are essential to our business, and maintaining this renewable resource is vital to our sustainability.

Futaleufu RiverkeeperFutaleufu Riverkeeper
If we pollute our rivers we poison our future. In developing countries, 70 percent of industrial wastes are dumped untreated into waters, polluting the usable water supply.
Futaleufú Riverkeeper (Fundación Futaleufú Riverkeeper) is a Chilean not-for-profit foundation established in 2012 to protect the natural and cultural heritage of the Futaleufú watershed, located in northern Patagonia. We bring legal claims against polluters and would-be dam developers, inform and mobilize community leaders to assert their rights to clean water, and advocate for national policies that ensure the permanent protection of the watershed and its communities.
Why we chose this charity: One look at the Futaleufú and you will understand…
